There’s more to life than movies
Actor Paul Walker is best-known for his role as Brian O’Connor in the multi-billion dollar Fast and the Furious franchise.
The oldest of five siblings born in California, to a fashion model and a sewer contractor, Walker began a screen and modelling career before he was out of nappies – literally. His first role, aged two, was in a TV ad for Pampers.
Throughout his childhood and teens, Walker made appearances in a number of TV shows and commercials on US television, as well as supporting roles in 90s teen movies including Varsity Blues, PleasantVille and She’s All That.
But it was his recurring roles in The Fast and the Furious franchise that saw him gain international fame.
Walker had been travelling to a charity event with a friend behind the wheel, when the car crashed and the pair were fatally injured.
A tribute to Walker by Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth “See You Again” featured on the Fast and the Furious 7 soundtrack in his memory, peaking at the top of the US charts, where it stayed for 12 weeks.
